NGC3580.

NGC3580. I took this image using Astronomik narrowband filters SII, OIII and H-alpha and I used the Hubble Palette for the colour data. The setup I was using was my ten inch f/4.8 reflector, a Vixen Atlux mount, PHD auto guiding and an Atik 383L mono CCD camera. I captured five minute sub frames with matching dark frames and combined them with flat field frames to reduce the effect of vignetting in the final image. The total exposure times were 40 minutes for each filter.

B33 The Horsehead nebula

Filter Test. Here we have B33 the Horsehead nebula, imaged 30 degrees away from the full moon under clear sky conditions. The total exposure time was 2 hours and twenty minutes. I captured five minute sub
frames with matching dark frames and combined them with flat field frames to reduce the effect of vignetting in the final image. The filter was an Astronomik H-alpha filter.

This is a combination of old and new data. The total exposure time was 5 hours.
